Practitioner Training
A Celtic-Informed Somatic Breathwork Training
Rebirthing Breathwork Ireland offers a professional training pathway rooted in the lineage of Rebirthing Breathwork, woven with contemporary nervous system awareness and the ancestral wisdom traditions of the Irish landscape.
At the heart of this work is a simple truth:
Breath is life.
Through conscious connected breathing, practitioners learn to support the body’s natural capacity for regulation, integration, and transformation.
This training invites students into a journey that is both deeply personal and professionally grounded — developing the skills to facilitate breathwork safely while exploring the inner landscape of breath, body, and awareness.
The Triple Spiral Path

Inspired by the ancient Celtic Triple Spiral (Triskele) — a symbol of movement, transformation, and life cycles — the Rebirthing Breathwork Ireland training unfolds through three stages of practitioner development.
Each spiral deepens the practitioner’s relationship with breath, embodiment, and consciousness.
Spiral One
Level 1 – Rebirthing Breathwork Practitioner
300 Hours | 12 Months
This foundational training introduces the practice of Conscious Connected Breathing within a somatic and trauma-aware framework.
Students develop a strong understanding of:
The training includes:
Graduates become Certified Rebirthing Breathwork Practitioners, qualified to offer one-to-one rebirthing sessions.
Spiral Two
Level 2 – The Elemental Path
100 Hours | 12 Months
Level 2 deepens the practitioner’s journey through the four elements — Air, Earth, Fire, and Water.
Rooted in the natural environment of the Irish landscape, this stage explores breathwork as a relationship between the human body and the living forces of nature.
Students deepen their personal breath practice while learning the skills required to facilitate group breathwork spaces.
This stage emphasizes embodiment, presence, and the ability to hold space for collective breathing experiences with safety and integrity.
Spiral Three
Level 3 – Advanced Practitioner Integration
50 Hours
The final stage explores deeper teachings within the rebirthing tradition, including the concept of the Unconscious Death Urge — the subtle ways individuals may unconsciously resist life through contraction, self-sabotage, or fear of expansion.
This stage supports practitioners to recognize and integrate these patterns, both within themselves and in their facilitation work.
The focus is on refinement, integration, and deepening the capacity to hold space for complex emotional and somatic processes.
A Celtic-Informed Somatic Breathwork Approach
This training brings together three core strands:
Practices reconnect breathwork with the body, the land, and emotional expression, honouring traditions such as grief expression, storytelling, and relationship with nature.
Breath becomes a living exchange between the body and the world around us — reminding us that we are not separate from nature, but part of its rhythms.
Who This Training Is For
This training is for those who feel called to explore the transformative power of breath.
Participants are often drawn to this work because they:
• Feel a deep respect for the healing power of breath
• Are curious about the deeper patterns shaping human experience
• Wish to cultivate embodied awareness and presence
• Feel called to support others through meaningful processes of change
This training is suitable for people from a range of backgrounds, including those working in wellbeing, therapy, education, body-based practices, or those simply drawn to deepen their relationship with breath.
More than a professional qualification, this training is also a journey of personal transformation and embodied learning.
The Heart of the Work
At its core, this training remembers something simple yet profound:
When we change the way we breathe, we change the way we live.
Through presence, compassionate witnessing, and conscious breathing, individuals reconnect with the deeper intelligence of the body and the natural rhythms of life.
Breathwork becomes not only a practice, but a way of relating — to ourselves, to others, and to the living world around us.
