About Rebirthing

Rebirthing Breathwork

A gentle, body-led approach to healing and self-connection

Rebirthing Breathwork is a conscious breathing practice that supports emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, and deeper connection with self. It works with the breath as a bridge between the body, emotions, and mind, allowing space for healing to unfold at a pace that feels safe and appropriate for each person.

Rather than forcing release or catharsis, rebirthing breathwork invites the body to lead. Through a continuous, connected breathing pattern, the body may gradually let go of stored tension, unexpressed emotion, and subconscious imprints that no longer serve wellbeing.

A Body-Centred and Trauma-Informed Process

Our bodies often hold experiences that were never fully processed—especially those that occurred early in life or during times when we did not have the capacity, language, or support to express what we felt.

These experiences can later show up as patterns such as:

  • anxiety or emotional reactivity
  • low self-esteem
  • difficulty feeling safe or connected
  • challenges with boundaries or intimacy

Rebirthing Breathwork works gently with the nervous system to create conditions of safety, presence, and choice.

You are always in control of your experience. Nothing is forced, and there is no expectation to revisit memories unless your system naturally brings something forward.

The breath gradually increases awareness, allowing what is ready to be felt, understood, or released to emerge naturally – while also supporting grounding, regulation and rest.

Supporting Relationships and Everyday Life

Many challenges in daily life and relationships are shaped by unconscious patterns rather than present-moment reality. These patterns can influence how we respond to:

Stress | Conflict | Intimacy | Boundaries | Change

Rebirthing Breathwork can support you to:

  • Notice emotional triggers with greater compassion
  • Develop more choice in how you respond rather than react
  • Feel more grounded and present in relationships
  • Increase emotional capacity and resilience
  • Build a kinder relationship with yourself
  • Feel more at ease in your body and nervous system

As awareness and regulation grow, many people find their relationships naturally shift—becoming clearer, calmer, and more authentic.

Early Life & Birth Imprints

Early Life Experiences and the Nervous System

Rebirthing Breathwork may gently bring awareness to early life experiences, including pregnancy, birth, and infancy.

These early experiences can influence how safe, supported, or welcome we feel in the world—often beneath conscious awareness.

For some people, medical interventions, a stressful birth, or emotional distress experienced by the mother during pregnancy may later show up as:

  • feeling rushed or pressured
  • difficulty moving forward in life
  • anxiety around transitions or change
  • a sense of being “stuck”
  • difficulty completing projects

Rebirthing Breathwork does not analyse or label these experiences.

Instead, it offers a compassionate space for the body to recognise and soften around what it has been holding, allowing new resources and perspectives to emerge.

This work is for anyone who has been born—women and men alike.

A Journey of Awareness and Integration

Rebirthing Breathwork is often described as a journey of self-discovery. The breath acts as a steady guide, helping to bring awareness to patterns, beliefs, and sensations that may have been operating in the background of our lives.

Rather than “fixing” something that is broken, this practice supports integration—meeting parts of ourselves with curiosity, care, and respect. Over time, people often report a greater sense of inner spaciousness, emotional clarity, and connection to life.

Potential benefits of Rebirthing Breathwork people may experience:

  • Increased relaxation and reduced tension
  • Greater nervous system regulation
  • Improved emotional awareness
  • Enhanced energy, focus, and clarity
  • Support with stress, anxiety, and low mood
  • A deeper sense of wellbeing and self-connection

Each experience is unique, and benefits unfold differently for everyone.

Rebirthing Breathwork & Pregnancy

Supporting the Perinatal Journey

Rebirthing Breathwork can be a gentle, supportive practice for pregnant mothers and expectant partners who wish to approach pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood with greater awareness, steadiness, and care.

This work does not assume that anything is wrong or unresolved. Rather, it offers a space to listen to the body with kindness, recognising that our own early experiences—often held beneath conscious memory—can influence how we relate to change, vulnerability, and the unknown.

Through conscious breathing, some people naturally become aware of patterns connected to their own arrival into the world. Others may simply experience greater grounding, calm, and connection.

Both experiences are equally valid.

You Do Not Need to Know Your Birth Story

There is no requirement to know or explore the details of your own birth for rebirthing breathwork to be supportive.

The body holds its own form of knowing, and when it feels safe enough, awareness may arise through:

  • subtle shifts in breathing
  • sensations or emotions
  • insights into present-day patterns
  • a sense of ease or release

Nothing is forced, analysed, or interpreted. The process is guided by the nervous system and honours personal boundaries at all times.

Supporting Pregnancy and Early Parenting

For some parents, rebirthing breathwork may support:

  • feeling more settled during pregnancy
  • building trust in the body and breath
  • reducing stress and emotional overwhelm
  • strengthening connection between partners
  • approaching birth with greater presence and flexibility

Sessions are always adapted to meet the physical, emotional, and energetic needs of pregnancy. Comfort, consent, and choice remain central, and the pace is guided by what feels supportive in the moment.

This work is not about revisiting difficult experiences. It is about creating an inner environment of safety and support, from which new life can be welcomed with greater steadiness and care.

Safety & Contraindications

There are contraindications with conscious connected breathwork. It is important to read our policy and be aware of all safety & contraindications.

Rebirthing Offerings

Dry Rebirthing

The early imprints become known on discussion of your life up to that moment. From there we begin to open the locks of the perceived chains that are keeping you bound to the old stories & patterns. We can all be very loyal to our parents & ancestors by being loyal to their pain.

Warm Water Rebirthing

Warm water rebirthing tends to regress us to birth & prenatal consciousness helping us unlock stuck emotions & release blockages from the time of our birth. Beautiful experience in a hot tub as we can really let go in the water and surrender to each moment.

Cold Water Rebirthing

Cold water rebirthing on the other hand tends to address the issues of fear & death and our belief patterns here that may be negatively affecting our relationships and how we’re approaching life. We all have a subconscious death urge usually first formed in the womb and cold water rebirthing helps us to address this.
